Our Story - G.O.A.T.

Conceived during a Spring drive in 2019, as a group of friends journeyed from Mammoth to SoCal, a collective spark ignited. With diverse backgrounds in apparel production, e-commerce, and importing, their minds brimmed with possibilities for channeling their expertise into something they truly loved.

Intrigued by the prospect of venturing into the world of snowboarding apparel, the friends swiftly recognized mittens as the perfect entry point. Extensive research ensued, exploring materials, products, and producers, until they discovered the ideal solution: full leather mittens made from GOAT leather in Pakistan. Not only is Pakistan a prominent consumer of GOAT meat, but it also boasts favorable trade agreements with the USA, making it an ideal partner for this venture.

Locked in now are the most exceptional leather mittens - naturally water-resistant, incredibly durable, and surprisingly affordable. The mission is clear: to offer you premium mittens that stand the test of time, while maintaining prices that rival those of ordinary work-style mittens.

When you order a pair of Mits Mittens, you can take pride in knowing that your mittens originated from an animal whose existence helped nourish a family. In Pakistan, leather is a co-product of their thriving GOAT meat market, further emphasizing the sustainable nature of our endeavor.

Bid farewell to stiff work-style gloves crafted from cow or pig leather, the least pliable options available. Instead, meet our good friend, the GOAT - the Greatest of All Time, perhaps? Leather sourced from GOATs possesses a natural abundance of lanolin, imbuing it with unparalleled softness and remarkable water resistance. GOAT leather is renowned for its lightness, strength, and supple nature, which is precisely why we've chosen it as the cornerstone of our mitten production.
